Robin McCaffery, OTR/L, BCP, C/NDT
Clinical Director, Senior Therapist
Robin graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics from the American Occupational Therapy Association and has specialty certifications in Sensory Integration and Neurodevelopmental Treatment. Her practice interests include neurological impairments, early childhood development, pediatric feeding, and sensory processing disorder. She serves on the board and is the Coastal Chair for MSOTA and enjoys mentorship and advocacy for the Occupational Therapy profession. Robin resides in Bay St. Louis with her husband, Darren.
Lauren Van Kirk, M.S., SLP-CCC
Lauren graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in
Communicative Disorders and from Jackson State University in 2015 with a Master of Science in Communicative Disorders. Lauren is a member of the Mississippi Speech-Language-Hearing
Association. Her practice interests include early intervention, articulation and phonology
disorders, and preschool language disorders. She resides in Gulfport with her husband, William, and their 3 young children.
Alex Calhoun, PT, DPT, Cert LSVT Big
Alex graduated from Mississippi State University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in
Kinesiology with a minor in Spanish and from The University of Mississippi Medical Center in
2021 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Her practice interests include early childhood
development and childhood orthopedic (sports/play) injuries, as well as neurological
impairments. Alex currently resides in Ocean Springs with her husband, Matthew, and her
Bulldog, Scout.
Kaitlyn Hindman, MOT, OTR/L
Kaitlyn graduated from the University of Florida in 2017 with a Bachelor of Health Science and a minor in Disabilities in Society, and in 2018 with a Master of Occupational Therapy degree.
Kaitlyn is a registered Occupational Therapist through the National Board for Certification in
Occupational Therapy, and is currently licensed in both Florida and Mississippi. Kaitlyn’s
professional interests include early childhood development, fine motor development, and
sensory processing disorder. She has clinical experience in outpatient pediatric therapy, school-based therapy, and hippotherapy. Kaitlyn resides in Biloxi with her husband, Eric, and their dog, Beau.
