OUR HISTORY

2004 – Upstream Rehabilitation formed, acquiring Benchmark Rehabilitation Partners and Preferred Therapy Providers

2005 – Expanded into Georgia

2005 – Acquires Integrity Rehab Group expanding its offering into managed physical therapy services

2006 – Committee of Clinical Excellence was formed to advance the quality of care and provide opportunities for senior therapists

2008 – Introduced the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program

2012 – Expanded into Kansas, Missouri, Alabama and Louisiana

2014 – Expanded into North Carolina

2015 – Expanded into Texas, Arkansas and Oregon

2017 – Expanded into Washington

2018 – Completed merger with Drayer Physical Therapy Institute

2019 – Opened 100 new clinics, acquired 12, and expanded into Iowa

2020 – Successfully grew through the pandemic, opening 53 new clinics and acquiring 3 additional

2021 – Ron Kuerbitz joins as CEO.  Upstream acquires Results Physiotherapy to become the largest dedicated outpatient physical therapy provider in the United States.  Opened more than 150 new clinics

2022 – Expanded joint venture partnership with AST in middle TN to include more than 100 clinics, acquired 15 clinics, and continued strategic denovo expansion
